UV mapping +volumetrics

Check it! Now is posible to do effects like the alien in the pixar short “Lifted”, that the bubbles inside the alien are deformed according to the caracter animation 😉

  1. cool! this is looking great.
    Am I to understand that the way this is working that the volumetrics uses the uv coordinates as they deform?
    for instance, you could have a procedural volumetric, and it will still deform according to the deformation of the mesh, so long as there is a uv there? or does the volumetric have to use a 2d image?
    fantastic work either way 🙂
