Particle video series

Hi all 🙂

This video serie shows the basic workflow with particle fluids, from sand to multiple interacting fluids, hope you will like them.
I warn that this videos are made with an older version of Particle Fluids patch so the GUI and some internals have changed, and the results now are much more better thanks to Jahka feedback.
but still they worth it 😉

Special thanks to Blendiac and WhifeofBlendiac for bringing those videos 🙂

  1. great videos! can’t wait until it’s in trunk =)

Btw the first video (Particle Fluid with Volumetric Material in Blender 2.5) doesn’t work for me. It’s doesn’t show anything… everything is just black

    1. I’ve reuploaded. Should be better now.

I’m just hoping I reuploaded the right one, so let me know if it looks like a duplicate of another video.

    2. What worked for me was to use the website http://clipnabber.com, and download the flv for the video, and then play that with quicktime (or vlc would work too)

  2. Thank you! This should be very helpful. I wish more developers took the time to create materials that help users understand the new features they’ve programmed.

    1. I’d just like to point out that this video is 100,000 particles in real time… *while* doing a full screen video screen capture. It also only took Farsthary about 10 minutes to create this!

      That is all. 🙂

Do you think you have time to fix the volumetric shader flickering?

This feature open a new world for motion graphic artist 🙂

Also you talk about use the same way to calculate the smoke feature 🙂
    is it true ?

    thankyou!

      1. Weeell, I could. It just seemed if multiple people were having difficulty it would be a simpler solution.

  9. Farsthary, you strike me as the kind of guy that can solve the Millennium problems, in especially the Navier-Stokes problem. If you solve it, you’ll win a cool one million dollar (for each millennium problem solved)

  10. Hola Raul
